Dan ‘Stitch’ Frost

Position: Race Engineer

Also does: Swinging Sixties race crew

Real job: Works in hospitality

Stitch came to us in 2015  as a first year student at Birmingham City University involved in the Uni’s Aquila Synergy project. At the outset he had limited experience but impressed us throughout the year with his attitude, commitment and enthusiasm. As a result we ‘adopted’ him as race engineer on the no:94 car. Since then he has graduated and become a valued member of the team. On race weekends, as well as working on the race cars, he is part of the swinging sixties pit stop crew. When he’s not running race cars he’s running marathons for charity and has raised thousands of pounds for various good causes such as The Lymphoma Association and children’s hospitals.

Some say; His likeness to a Disney character is uncanny and that if you hold his head to your ear like a seashell you can hear someone shouting in Mexican.
